How Sanhu House works
A recovery shaped around you.
Sanhu House provides sanhujori-trained postpartum care in your home, day or night. We begin with what your body, baby, and household need, then build the hours around that.
Inside your care
The same standard of care, day or night
Choose daytime support, overnight care, or a combination that changes as your family finds its rhythm.
During the day
Space to recover while life keeps moving.
Your doula creates room for you to eat, shower, sleep, recover, and learn your baby without carrying the entire household at once.
Overnight
Longer windows of protected rest.
Your doula handles the stretches between feeds, including soothing, settling, bottles, and notes, so you can protect as much sleep as possible.
Across your recovery
The support changes as you do.
Early recovery does not ask the same things of you as week six or week twelve. Your care should evolve with it.
Protected recovery
Create space for rest, feeding, nourishment, and the earliest stages of physical recovery.
Confidence and rhythm
Adjust care around feeding and sleep while building confidence in what works for your family.
A supported transition
Reshape care as routines settle and your family’s next phase begins to come into view.

What your hours could look like.
Care is $65 an hour. Most Sanhu House recoveries land between $6,500 and $22,750, but these are examples, not packages. Your care may be lighter, fuller, longer, or a completely different mix of days and nights.
Weeks 1–4
$6,500
100 hours of care
A lighter first month for a family that already has support but wants protected nights and dedicated daytime recovery.
Weeks 1–6
$13,000
200 hours of care
One way to cover the most intensive early weeks and gradually step down as confidence and capacity return.
Weeks 1–14
$22,750
350 hours of care
One way to carry support across the fourth trimester and into the family's next rhythm.
Need daily, extended, or longer-term care?
These examples are starting points, not ceilings. We will build the right schedule with you during your planning call.
From conversation to care
How your recovery becomes yours.
We do not ask you to choose a package. We learn what you need, recommend the right shape, and build from there.

Your doula match
Matched for more than availability.
We consider your recovery priorities, newborn-care needs, household rhythm, personality, and the kind of support that will help you feel most at ease.
Your primary doula is backed by the Sanhu House care team, so your recovery never rests on one person alone.
Skilled postpartum support, not medical care.
Your doula works alongside your OB-GYN or midwife, pediatrician, IBCLC, therapist, and other providers. She supports recovery and newborn care at home and helps identify when a question belongs with your clinical team.
Common questions
A few things families often ask.
Can we combine daytime and overnight care?
Are the sample schedules fixed packages?
Can our schedule change after care begins?
What does my matching fee do?
The $500 matching fee covers the work required to create and carry out your doula match. Once the fee is paid and your Design Your Experience intake is complete, we use your responses to create a match brief, identify potential doulas, and arrange your interviews. The intake is not a care plan and does not set your hours, price, or final care team.
The matching fee is non-refundable, including if Sanhu completes the matching work and arranges interviews but you choose not to proceed with a matched doula. The only exception is if Sanhu has no coverage in your requested service area. In that situation, $475 is refunded after a $25 processing charge.
After your Matrescence Care Specialist planning calls are complete and your hours are set, you will receive a Scope of Services & Care Agreement outlining your specific care team and total hours. Signing that agreement confirms the start of active care. Full terms are provided at checkout.
